Air Jordan 11 "Space Jam" Release Date

The highly coveted Air Jordan 11 Space Jam was originally worn by Michael Jordan in the NBA playoffs in 1995. He also wore them, in the movie Space Jam later in 1996. On December 13th, 2000, the shoe was released to the public retailing for $125, and again on December 23rd, 2009 for $175.

There are many differences between the 2016 version and the ones released before. To start off they will have the number “45” stitched on the heel, along with a Concord Jumpman. The upper is made out of an all-Black mesh and high-cut patent leather. They include white midsoles, a translucent sole, and the Jumpan inscribed on the tongue.

The box will come with a special edition Looney Tunes and Bugs Bunny themed box. The number “45” is also in the wrapping paper and the box. The graphic is both Bugs Bunny’s and The Monsters’ arms wrapping around each other creating the number “23” holding on to the “45”.
